Dear friends of Dry Tears,
Well, it's time for another update. While there isn't much to report on the MI branch, we are glad to report that the well building is still going on. We have sold 10 Hungry Howie cards, and have 2 people who qualify for 5 free junior pizzas because of their efforts in selling the cards. In case you are trying to remember the deadline for selling the cards, it is Sept. 12 - 1 week from today.
This next month (and maybe longer-we'll see) we will be selling things on E-Bay, and the profits will go to Dry Tears. However, we will need your help. We would ask you to donate usable, working items that are in good condition. See notes below.
NO CLOTHES ...PLEASE!!! ( I had to say that or else get flooded w/ clothes :>))
Stuff you can get to us:
Toys - they have to work :>)
Books/magazines/other media- should be G rated :>) and not torn or written in (i.e. no playboy or romance novels!-I WILL burn them!)
Electronics - must work!
Music/videos/other media - needs to be appropriate enough for my little 9 yr old bro to listen to
Home decor stuff - usable condition
Food - I hope it is obvious that we can't sell food! :>)
Jewelry - yes, we will sell it, but not if it's broken.
I probably haven't listed everything you can think of, but if you have q's, e-mail me. If you have stuff you want to get to us, shoot us an e-mail and we'll work something out. Thanx!
