In Drupal 8, social network integration and functionality is being completely rewritten and harmonised thanks to a GSoC grant from Google. Please spread the news. Drupal 8 developers need to know about this.

Wednesday's Drupal Social API call is at 3pm CEST (27 July 2016). We'll have a 30 minute technical meeting where Drupal GSoC mentors (e0ipso and dahacouk) will grill our talented student (gvso); followed by 30 minutes of developer/collaborator time where we invite you to participate with questions and comments. But join from the start and learn about social network integration in Drupal 8.
