In Drupal 8, social network integration and functionality is being harmonised and completely rewritten, from the ground up, thanks to a GSoC grant from Google.

Today's Drupal Social API call is at 3pm CEST (20 July 2016). We'll have a 30 minute technical meeting where Drupal GSoC mentors (e0ipso and dahacouk) will grill our incredibly talented student (gvso); followed by 30 minutes of developer/collaborator time where we invite you to participate with questions and comments.
