Hi Team,
I just started using Drupal and now I got stuck with Profiles. I'm
using Content Profile module to create a profile. I would like to view
the faculty and staff member's profiles with short bio (picture and
name) list and link this page to a long bio (bigger picture, more
detail info) page. I was wondering if anyone can help me?
Thanks.

Hi there,
If I understand you correct you want to display a list of users
(faculty and staff) and just display picture and name there and when
you click on it, it will take to their main profile.
The First thing I would like to know is whether you are using the
default user picture or using picture from content profile. If you are
using the default user picture provided by the core drupal profile
module then you just need a view. Start off with a user type view and
add the fields that you want to show (Picture and Name). then add a
page display and give a path and you should be done..See ths link
http://views-help.doc.logrus.com/help/views/example-users-by-role

However if you are using content profile for both the Name and user
picture then it is a bit more complex. When using a user view you only
get fields related to the user like user id, username etc..If you are
using content profile..those fields will not be available in user
view..because they belong to a node and in drupal node and user are
different. For views to access those fields you need a relationship of
content profile. In the relationship add a new content profile
relationship and select your content profile content type. Then all
the fields that you use in the content profile become available in the
view,,then add the fields that you want to display.
