Hello, does anyone here have a template for a drumming event proposal? I need to send one off to a potential client and wanted a starting point to customize from. Thanks in advance. Ray

Hello Ray,
You opened up a can of worms with not enough information for us to figure out how to help you.

FIRST !
Take into consideration the 3 basics; Size - Population and Intention
#!, Size?
20 participants? 60? 100?
#2, Population?
Corporate executives? A teachers convention? A school assembly, High school or Middle school??
#3, Intention?
A sales conference? A teambuilding event? Just for fun at a company picnic? etc etc

Each one of these elements are essential to determining your proposal.

And the next can of worms to open up, is Price,, How deep are their pockets, is it a nonprofit org.? Is it a stand alone event or integrated with other presentations? Etc Etc….

I would highly recomend you get your hands on Louis-Daniel Joly's “The Drum Circle Business Cookbook"
It is a “compleate" guide on starting and managing your own drum circle company.

I wish that I could get into a time machine and start over again using this book 50 years ago. It would have saved me a ton of trial and error, heartaches, and business stress.

I can guarantee that the definitive answer you seek is in Louis-Daniel’s book.  Uncle Arthur  {]]’;-)

Hi,
I've use a variation of this but our DRUMSTRONG circles typically tend to focus on charity inclusion aspects and specific intention drum circles. So there’s that.

There are several key factors to include (besides the obvious) ::

Location : Distance, Accessibility/Parking, Interior (sufficient space, acoustics, floor surface and level), Covered if outside (ground surface material, irrigation sprinklers OFF), Chairs (armless)
Number and age of participants
Duration
Intention/Message
Video/Photo document permissions

Always try to have the conversation with the key decision- maker. Not bad to get any agreement signed...

Dear Blake,

Thank you for your interest in including facilitated interactive rhythm sessions as a means to immerse participants in a true collective activity that will unify and be memorable. So glad you reached out.

We welcome the opportunity to share rhythmic joy with your community and offer participants an outlet and focus.

Through DRUMSTRONG we can have some fun, unload some stress, express intentions and amplify compassion in the process.

Our 1 hour sessions are $500 per or $800 per 2 hours and $150 per additional hour. Cost of our sessions is based on location, duration and number of participants. Special needs or access issues, may affect costs.

We facilitate with at least two trained drum circle and/or health rhythm facilitators.

We request that the facility provide a covered space (if outdoors), armless chairs for all participants (folding chairs are fine), one table, and easy access from our equipment trailer to the circle.

We are non-ecumenical, non-political, ALL-inclusive and insured.

We believe that we are all vibrational beings and through drumming we can tap into (pun intended!) and (re)enforce the universality of that source.

Our facilitators are eager to bring any message and welcome any theme or intention you’d like sessions to convey.

As a unique opportunity for Providence Baptist Church, we would be honored to include you as a sponsor to our DRUMSTRONG ‘Rhythm Aid Projects’ humanitarian assistance initiatives.

We bring facilitated interactive rhythm therapy to children’s hospitals and refugee centers globally.

Would love to discuss the possibilities of partnering with PBC with a donation to our ‘Rhythm Aid Projects’ in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Denmark, France, Canada, US and (hopefully soon) Israel/Gaza refugee programs.

This link will show a 2 minute video about the inaugural work we are doing at the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital n Kyiv, Ukraine. Funds help to provide and maintain equipment and pay our facilitators.

We’re in conversation with hospitals and clinics, pediatric hospice centers and orphanages globally and domestically to expand this program.

Happy to pursue these conversations and answer any questions at your convenience.

With warmest regards,

Scott
