Hello Drum hive!

I am curious if anyone has worked with Dementia/Alzheimer's populations before and if so, what worked/didn't work in the circle?  I'm hoping for suggestions for small circles, maybe 6 participants with Dementia/Alzheimer's to varying degrees, who would be accompanied by their caregivers who would also take part in the circle.

Also important is to not 'dumb down' the activities, ie: not treat them like they are kids just because they have brain disorders, while at the same time not making rhythms too challenging that they get frustrated/confused.

I welcome input!

Hi Ter
I've written down my thoughts, based on experience, in song form. Take a listen and do ask if you'd like more details.
