Hey everybody I am new to Double bass drumming. I am trying to get my
speed and accuracy up to par with my right foot. I play a 5 piece
Ludwig Accent kit with a DW double pedal. I have started playing with
only my left foot, but I also need to keep my right foot in practice.
Any tips or suggestions? I can't read music, so if somebody can just
give me a few practice patterns, I can increase tempo as I improve.
Thanks.

Hi,i used to play the drums but have now given up,too many crap bands
out there.
The only advice i can give is this:
Basically you want to be able to practice as a left handed and right
handed drummer, which means setting the kit up the opposite way around,i
think they call this ampedextrous, this will make you an all round
better drummer.
As for bass drum patterns i used to do the rudiments, like you do on the
snare drum,LRLL RLRR ,RLRLRR LRLRLL ,ect.
I dont know if this is any help to you but its worth a go.
