curl: (7) Failed to connect to localhost port 8090: Connection refused

Hi everybody,

I'm a beginner to Druid. I followed the tutorial to load wikipedia data into Druid ,however I faced the following error and could not resolve :

curl: (7) Failed to connect to localhost port 8090: Connection refused

I also tried to load stream data into Druid but I faced the same issue for port 8200. I'm so sorry , if my questions are silly. Any help is highly appreciated!

Hi,

I believe you are getting this error when trying to submit the task to the overlord. Is my understanding correct ? 

It seems due to some reason the overlord is not running, check overlord console logs for more info.

Thank you for your reply. I guess the problem was related to the port , I killed the process running on port 8090. Then it seemed working.
