i am having a tough time running druid using ansible, since the java process seems to exit after ansible completes.

Is there any init.d or any other shell script one can use to start a druid node?

Hi Prashant,

We don't have any init.d scripts setup right now.
there has been some work done with apache whirr documented here -

and some chef scripts that can be used to launch druid nodes contributed here -

Hopefully these will help in creating init.d scripts.
