[Vote] Druid version after merging #1638

After merging https://github.com/druid-io/druid/pull/1638, we will be changing how Druid downloads extensions. These changes will impact how extensions are loaded locally.

Should we call the version of Druid with this 0.8.x or 0.9.0?

Given that it requires substantial changes to deployment and configuration files, especially for hadoop related things that don't exactly behave the same way, I say we call 0.9

Since it is not a drop-in upgrade I agree that a notable version update is needed.

Okay cool, so I think we should try to get 0.8.2 out then and merge this PR afterwards and move up to 0.9.0.
