ABOUT THE SEMINAR
As the world is running head long into the materialistic mode, more and more people suffer from lifestyle diseases and diabetes is one of them. The prevalence of diabetes is increasing day by day. While diabetes cannot be cured, it can be treated and managed. Lifestyle modifications (changes in day-to-day habits) are an essential component of any diabetes management plan. Multiple small changes can lead to improvements in diabetes control. An intensive lifestyle intervention is effective over 10 years and remains the best bet for prevention of diabetes. Lifestyle is the way each one of us approaches the pleasures and pressures of the world. It includes our attitudes, habits, behaviour, and physical activity (exercise) diet and stress management.
