Reg converting ADIS degrees to MS-LIS retrospectively

Dear Friends,

 

Wish you all a very happy new year.

 

I am writing this seek your opinion regarding MS-LIS. I think, all of you are aware that since, 2008-2010 ADIS has been changed to Master of Science in Library and Information Science (MS-LIS). Should we request ISI Bang/ DRTC to convert our ADIS degrees to MS-LIS retrospectively or award us a continuation certificate. I think we wouldnt mind paying a small fee also for the purpose. 

 

Waiting to hear your thoughts in this regard.

I believe this is really a good idea which would also bring us at par with the other MLiScs from Universities.

And also I believe paying a small fees to convert the degree/diploma to MS wouldn't hurt us -:).
