TCS is looking for suitable candidates for the following positions at Hyderabad:

1. Officer - Library & Information Centre (Two positions/ Regular)
Qualifications: M.L.I.Sc/M.Sc (Lib.Sc)/MIM/MSc. (ISc)/ADIS or equivalent,
Experience: 1 to 3 years (Max.) experience in library / documentation / information handling, preferably in corporate, scientific, IT environments.

2. Trainee - Library & Information Centre (Two positions/ Temporary)
Qualifications: B.L.I.Sc. and above. Freshers (awaiting results) or with up to 1year (Max.) experience can also apply.
The positions are temporary ( 6 months max ) and are stipend based.

Candidates with a flair for IT and good communication skills (written and spoken) will be preferred.
Knowledge of any foreign language other than English will be a plus point.

Job Description: The person would be a part of Hyderabad library team and the key responsibilities wd include:
Offer timely & relevant information services
Handling electronic resources & queries,
Design / update the library portals,
Create and archive information assets
Housekeeping operations
Provide uninterrupted library hours
Assist the branch libraries to achieve their objectives

The person should be flexible to work at any of the locations within the city (as well as other cities) & carry out extended hours.
The compensation will match the best in the industry

Hi Shirish,

 

I am moving to Noida, as  I got a new job at CSC. It's a full time training administrator job and is a regular and permanent job. I will have to take a new house at Noida, it's some 40 KMs from Dwarka, Sector-9 where we are staying presently.

 

Vineeta has resigned from school and is searching for a new job. My daughter is growing very rapidly and is giving us a wonderful time.
