Authorization at Google failed

When I want to sync to my spreadsheet or to Docs, I got the notification "Authorization at Google failed". No error code was mentioned. But when I tap on the error message, I got directed to a broken page of Google, since their UI has changed. I suspect this synchronization error is caused by the new UI of Google.
After I removed Memoires from the allowed Google apps to see if re-adding helps, I did not get a new message to re-authorize again (unlike shown in your video tutorial).

Do other users also have this problem? Any ideas how to solve this?

Same problem here.  I tried deleting the apps Google access, deleting the apps cache and data and re-authorizing, but still no luck.

I guess I'm the fourth person to have this problem.
I wonder how many of us will come here after googling for a solution.
Aw well :)

The problem is that he uses OAuth v1 for negotiating the connection with Google Drive, but it was force-deprecated in April, so Google just rejects the authentication method. He needs to update it to OAuth v2 for it to work in future. I even gave him a semi-bad review on Google Play, and said I would change it when fixed, but no dice. I wonder if he's abandoned this project.

The same here. Authorization failed.
The program in itself is great, but it seems that either the programmer is dead or otherwise doesn't care any more. If only somebody gets the source code and continues his work wit some fixes.
I'd be ready to buy a lisence to the program if only the sync problem gets fixed.
A Linux version of this program wouod be great (don't care about M$).

I found an alternative to backup your journals somehow (but not syncing):

Export your journal as HTML or as RTF document, and you can still choose whether you export all your entries or filtered tags only!

However, I don't know whether you can restore your entries in this way or not since I use it to transfer my entires to the computer.

After months with no sync - I eventually found after playing around with my original memories spreadsheet I could download all my entries (3 years worth) into another app orange diary.
Its no way as good looking as memories but at least I have saved all my listings and it works with a scheduled online backup.
If you do want to explore then make a copy of your original spread sheet first, just in case.

If memories ever gets fixed (I really hope it does) I will move them all back again.

This is what I finally determined. OAuth v 2 is only one supported now. So I can't really change devices or sync memoires.
