How to delete unused tags and audio records

The subject says it all. I have not found a way to delete unwanted tags. I also have quite a few very short (<2 secs) audio records which I can't get rid of.
Any thoughts appreciated. Thx.

From the main page, select stop light buttons (top right) then select Tags. look down bottom right at another stop light button, press that. Select delete, then pick which tags need to go.
