abandoned?

any idea if the author has abandoned this project? i'm noticing no responses to a lot of forum messages.i just tried a google drive sync and google is telling me that the app is using an old method and they are rejecting all use of that method now. i really like memories and have been using it for years now. so i really hope the author re-emerges.

I also noticed that synchronisation with Google is not working because of an authorization problem. I hope it can be fixed soon.
