unfortunately, memoires has stopped

I need help. Every time I try to get in the diary after I typed my password, "unfortunately, memoires has stopped" this keeps popping out. And now, I can't use the diary anymore. I was thinking of reinstalling it, but will the back up memory be deleted if I deleted it? Or if I copy and paste the back up memory, will I be able to place it and view all the things I have written before? Really wish this could be solved.
