Can I recover a memory after a factory reset? Didn't backup app beforehand

Hi there,

I sent my Sony phone to be fixed and downloaded Sony PC companion, assuming that this backup tool would also backup my apps and app data as well as photos, contacts etc. I've just received my phone back and restored the backup and the memoires app has not got any of my data on. I had stored a very important memory of the birth of my daughter on the app and I REALLY would like to recover it if that is at all possible. I have since read that you can sync/backup using the app but I don't think I ever backed up the app data on this particular app previously. I am pretty sure I have backed up my phone to my google account but i'm not sure if I can even use that to find my lost memory.

Please help me!!!! Is there any way I can recover this important memory?
