Brought this without seeing that it requires firmware 4.1.
One of the great things of the original DropZap was that it ran great
on earlier devices.
Would there be a chance that you would release an update that would
work on the 3.1 firmware?
Thanks

I will lower the requirement in an upcoming update so that it at least
runs as an iPhone app on the iPad.

Why is 3.1 important though? Why can't you upgrade to 4.1?

Hi Amir,

Thanks for the reply. I have an iPhone 3G and upgrading to firmware 4
will slow down an already very slow iPhone.
Myself and many others have avoided upgrading.
If there are no plans to make DropZap2 available to older iPhone /
iPod users then that's fine and I'll be more careful before clicking
on the Buy button again.
Thanks

I can certainly consider making DropZap 2 available for older devices,
but there are no plans to support global leaderboards outside of Game
Center.

I thought Game Center would have been the reason for the firmware
requirement and would be good if this was removed on detecting the
device firmware.
Unfortunately, I am not a developer and have no idea if this is
possible.
I hope to see an update but understand if there isn't.
Good luck for the future.

The high firmware requirement was an error on my part -- as it means
you can't run DropZap 2 as an iPhone app on the iPad. Supporting 3.1.x
+ in an update would be trivial -- but note that you would not have
global leaderboards at all on devices without Game Center.

I will probably lower the firmware requirement to some version of
3.1.x in an update.
