How are microservices currently used in the Java ecosystem? (mini-survey)

Hi all!

Microservices is a hot topic, but it's hard to find good public data on the current usage, at least from the developer's point of view. I'm looking for some insight on how we are currently developing microservices-based applications in Java with this mini-survey (3-4 minutes). Asking this group, as DropWizard is one of the leading frameworks for implementing microservices architecture in Java. Happy to give back by sharing the results here as a blog post later.
