dropwizard-jdbi3 dropped compatibility with java 8

In the latest release (2.0.22) dropwizard-jdbi3 contains a dependency on Caffeine 3.0, which cannot compile nor run on Java 8. Previous versions still work on Java 8.

Although Java 8 is deprecated, this is a pretty big breaking change, maybe worth mentioning in the docs or release notes?

Hi Paolo,

You're right and this should have been mentioned in the release notes.

This being said, you can force a downgrade to Caffeine 2.9.x in your project so that it's working again with Java 8.

Jdbi 3 and dropwizard-jdbi3 will still work.
