AWS Cognito authorization

Hello all,

I'm trying to get my head around using AWS Cognito/Amplify auth in my Dropwizard application. I've used Keycloak in the past and had the luxury of using a well maintained library to take care of most of the work. With AWS I'm lost on how to approach this...

How to set the whole thing up?

How to verify tokens?

What to do on the webclient part (login, refresh token, ...)?

Most of the examples I found are over 5 years old. I have the feeling I'm looking in the wrong direction and it should be in the end not that hard with the OAuth implementation that comes with DW. Any insights are welcome at this point...
