I can connect via SSH by using the terminal.

Hi Oliver, 

Thanks for trying DropSync. Hopefully we can get past this issue.  

In order to debug things further, would you mind sending me the command you use to connect with ssh on the terminal (do you use a password or an ssh key and does your key have a password) .. and also a screenshot of your ssh config window (in DropSync).  That may give me some clues.  If you prefer not to post those to the forum just email them to me privately.

This is unrelated to your current issue, but I should say that if you can get DropSync to connect then you will also need to change this option (see screenshot) in order for syncing to work.  “Quote server paths” should be deselected.  Very few servers require this, but in my experience it is needed with hidrive.
