macOS file and folder Tag support

Hi, I have searched the in-app help, the online help site and this forum, but I don't see reference to file and folder Tag support. My experience with DropSync 3 on macOS (13 Ventura) is that copies of files or folders with a Tag (applied in Finder) only get the tag(s) synced if they existed before the first sync. If a file already exists in the destination and the source has a new tag added or changed, those new tags do not get added to the copy in the destination.

Is this just a known limitation or is there a way to always have Finder tags sync too?
