Unable to connect to remote folder via SSH

Hey all

I downloaded the trial version to test out if I could sync a local folder with an ftp folder.

Using the SSH, I added my (Hostgator) account username and password which I also checked again just in case and they let me in via the web.

I went online to hostgator and got the settings I needed and DropSync appears to try and connect... just spins and does nothing.

Has anyone else had any luck getting SSH access?

Dear Murray,

The best way to try and troubleshoot this would be to first try and login to your hostgator account using ssh via Terminal.app

Hostgator should provide you with instructions on how to do that. Once you have that working use the same settings in DropSync and (barring rarer issues) it should work.
