Eric and Jake, thanks for the replies and example code. I've dabbled
with Uploadify, but not with integrating it with Drop.io. I'll give it
a shot.
As far as what my plans for it are, they are not very exciting, I'm
afraid. I'm building a site where people have a simple form to
complete (title, description, contact info), with a place to upload
images. This information and files would be used to build a static
webpage later. I'm considering using Drop.io as a datastore for the
form info as well as doing conversion/resizing on uploaded images.
When a person places an order on the site, a new drop gets created for
them, they go to the site I'm envisioning, "log in" (really just
authenticate to their drop), complete the form on the site, upload any
files, and save it. When they save, the form info is stored in JSON
format as a .js in the drop, which could be used later.
The embeddable uploader is great because it's so straightforward, but
it would be nice to have the callback so that the form could get
refreshed to show what's been uploaded.
Again, thanks for the replies and help.
