Google Analytics code in links

When I use the API to send a link to an email address, there's a lot
of Google Analytics code in the URL. Is there any way to turn this off
or at least run it through a URL shortener? It's very ugly and
confusing.

Example link (valid for 24 hours):
http://api.drop.io/b2ku3va/asset/lenna-jpg?utm_source=sendgrid.com&utm_medium=email&utm_term=test&utm_content=all%20email&utm_campaign=website
