Hello!

We are working with Drools 6.1.0 and currently we have hard time finding some official documentation (like [1]) how to enable rules pre-compilation.

Some tutorials [1] points to a maven plugin (without any explanation/documentation behind it), so my question is: there is an official explanation on how enable rule pre-compilation on any version and in particular in 6.1.0 ?

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

I strongly suggest to upgrade to a newer version (6.4.0) if possible. You shouldn't find any incompatibility.
That said this is an example of how to configure the maven-plugin: https://github.com/droolsjbpm/droolsjbpm-integration/blob/master/kie-maven-plugin-example/pom.xml

I hope this helps,
Mario

Thank you Mario for quick response!

Currently we can upgrade on a newer version, but we'll do it for sure!
Btw, I already find example you mentioned and what I need is a little bit of context and I think I'm not the only one on this topic. Should I open an issue to ask an improvement on drools documentation ?

Thanks in advance,
