How to avoid Rules Conflict in Drools

Hi All

During rules creation in .drl file, there are chances that more than 1 rule satisfied for a particular facts. My question is :

1. While adding rule to already existing drl rule file, do we need to update all the existing rules to avoid rules conflict.

2. when there is a conflict, how to avoid it ?

Please suggest.

Probably what you want is activation-group?

An activation group is a set of rules bound together by the same activation-group rule attribute. In this group, only one rule can be executed.
