Hi all,

I am new to Java / Drools (few days old). I am in process for evaluating / learning DROOLS.

I would like to install and run the Drools Workbench.

The steps I followed were:
1. Downloaded the Drools Workbench from http://drools.org/download/download.html
2. Installed Apache on my Windows Box.

I am not able to execute the downloaded WAR file from Apache.

Also, I tried using JBoss Standalone App Server, and attempted to deploy the Drools war file.

Any help / tips / suggestions on how I can go about to launch / run the Workbench.

Thanks,
Anwar.

What do you mean "I am not able to execute the downloaded WAR file from Apache"?

Assuming you've deployed the WAR to Tomcat - and assuming you're using the "xxx-tomcat" WAR - did you follow the README (inside the WAR)?

Assuming you were able to install JBoss and upload the war file (JBoss version), you can open the workbench on the browser by going to this link "http://LOCALHOST:PORT/kie-drools-wb-distribution-wars-6.2.0.Final-jboss-as7"
