how to connect kie workbench to git

I am a newbie to kie workbench and git. Can anyone please guide me how can I connect workbench to GIT.
I want to save and fetch data from workbench to git. But I am not getting how can I connect kie workbench to git.
Any help/suggestion would be really appreciated.

Bydefault server will create git repository under $JBOSS_HOME/bin/.niogit directory. If you want to clone this repository into Eclipse or in anyother IDE then you have to use this URL to perform git clone/push operation

Thank you for your help.. Got the repository there.
I have one more doubt if you can help me on this. I need to save or fetch data from GIT. So for this I need to make a rest call. So, can I write a rest code in kie workbench itself or we need to setup a development worksapce for this.
