I am trying to clone a local GIT project to eclipse. The git repository is setup on a different machine. SO, I am using that machine IP for connection. But while cloning I am getting this error.

I am cloning the project to eclipse for writing a rest code for saving and fetching data from local GIT repository.
Can anyone please suggest how to resolve this error.

Can you clone it OK out side of Eclipse; e.g. from Command Line?

check if there is any firewall blocking ports.

Actually I need to clone the project for making rest call. If it could be done with Command Line. I can also try that. Can you please share the steps for cloning with Command Line. As I am a naive user for GIT and Drools. So, don't have in depth knowledge for it.

There are some administration firewall settings done. How can I check this is a issue of firewall and not any other issue. If there is any way for this.

Also I have a query that I need to save and fetch data from GIT, so for this I am making a rest call through eclipse. Is there any way I can make the rest call using Kie Workbench itself.?

To check its an issue with firewall you can use telnet command:

telnet host port

if its connected then its not an issue with firewall.
You can use following command to clone git repository through command line:

git clone ssh://User@hostName:Port/repository1.git
