Novel techniques for Power Line Monitoring with the help of UAVs

Hi Everyone,

If anyone is interested then there is an opportunity to participate in a drone project, which aim is to automate power lines monitoring process.

Nevertheless, there are several challenges which need to be solved before, like:

Increasing the accuracy of DSM/DTM data, creating a digital terrain model in densely vegetated areas, integration of separate point clouds etc.
