Greetings,

In the latest issue of Perfect Sound Forever <https://www.furious.com/perfect/index0423.html>, you'll find (among other things):

 THE RED CRAYOLA
Their debut = masterpiece?, by Brett Abrahamsen
"The Red Crayola's seminal debut album, The Parable of Arable Land, is arguably the greatest album of all time. Few have dared put forth this argument, but it's a compelling one. The complexity and chaos of its "free form freakouts" have never been matched. Almost as an afterthought, the album also includes three of the greatest rock songs of the era: "Hurricane Fighter Plane" (with a majestic, hallucinatory organ solo by Roky Erickson), "Pink Stainless Tail," and the ultimate protest anthem, "War Sucks.""

 CHRIS SMITH
Interview- Indie lo-fi noir, by Jorge Luis Fernandez
"Chris Smith is a professional photographer and a great musician as well. Moving around the Melbourne area where he nearly always lived, the Australian guitarist started out his career in the mid Nineties as part of the alt/post-rock outfit The Golden Lifestyle Band. At the end of that decade, with the album Cabin Fever, Chris embarked on a solo career which reached its apex with the brilliantly atmospheric Bad Orchestra."

We also have a Spotify playlist with most of the artists above here:

We're always looking for good writers and/or ideas so let us know if you have anything to share.

See you online,
Jason
