I experienced this over the weekend when trying to demo the app. Above is an iPad standard with the 1.1.4 iTunes version.

Below is the iPad Mini with the latest beta Test version. There are no menu items present on the iPad mini.

When iPad mini has WiFi available BUT not connected, the menu items are present. When no WiFi signal is present, you do not get the menu items.

That's really strange. It *shouldn't* behave that way as we've worked hard to implement caching of the blocks. This means the toolbar and blocks should show up even if you're not connected. But you may have uncovered a bug. We'll test and get back to you asap.

Tried again last night to run DroneBlocks with my P4 but had something (not) happen. iPad mini with the latest test app had no menu items displayed so I switched over to my iPad with the latest apple iTunes version and voila, now I had menu items. I constructed my mission then pressed the green Preview Mission button down below right side but nothing happened. I pressed it a couple times and nothing happened so I pressed and held it until the three menu items: Open, Add to Reading List, Copy appeared but still no Mission Preview/Map page. Not sure what happened but is there a way tp go back to previous versions? Attached is the mission I developed. The Telemetry Data was functional and there was a good connection to the P4. The P4's camera image was displayed ok in the upper right-handed block.

One thing I'd like you to try is coding up a mission without any aircraft connect and click preview. That should give you the map display with your waypoint markers showing.

Judging from your screenshot the P4 was not connected, otherwise you'd see "Phantom 4" in the top right of the app screen. Your mission looks great and I'll give it a test this afternoon to see how it performs.

Let me know how your test goes and we'll get to the bottom of this.

I was able to get the latest DroneBlock beta version to work yesterday on my Phantom $ and iPad mini. The objective was to climb to 125 ft. lower the gimble. Begin video, make a 360 degree turn, lower gimble, make another 360 deg turn, lower gimble, make a third and final 360 degree turn, Stop video, take picture, stow gimble, descend and land.

Attempt 1. Aircraft would not make a 360 degree turn but it would lower the gimble as directed
Adjustment Made: Changed Yaw Right from `360 to 359 deg,

Attempt 2: same result as attempt 1.
Adjustment Made: Changed Yaw Right from 359 deg, to 180, added additional Yaw Right 180 deg

Attempt 3: First 180 deg rotation, aircraft turned left 180 deg instead of right as programmed., Rest of mission went as programmed

1. I don't know why the aircraft would not make a 360 or 359 degree turn.
2. I don't understand why my maps will not cache in the DJI GO app as configured to do but they will in DroneBlocks.

Wow, this is excellent testing, thank you Phillip.

So to make sure I understand, it would turn 359 deg, but not 360?
And when it wouldn't turn 360, what error would you receive?
Sounds like your Phantom 4 has a bad attitude and needs to learn how to respect its commands! :)

We were discussing the maps caching just the other day.
I'm going to dig more in the big facebook groups to figure out the best caching workflow and will report back.

Thanks again Phillip!

Curious, did start / stop video record blocks perform as expected?

My 16GB microUSB card filled while taking a couple ground shots.
