I've tested this version twice to see if I could replicate some of the issues it was having on the first flight. Here is a list of some of my initial observations:

Assumptions: If it is not listed, assume either I didn't test it or I did and it worked awesome! :-)

  1. The opening screen with the new logo flashes past so quickly, I couldn't read a thing on ot.
  2. When selecting Yaw Right 360 degrees, P4 does nothing and moves to the next programming block in the mission
  3. When selecting Yaw Right 359 degrees, P4 does nothing and moves to the next programming block in the mission
  4. When selecting Yaw Right 270 degrees, P4 makes a counter-clockwise turn to the Left 90 degrees
  5. When putting two blocks back to back that say Turn Right 180 degrees (trying to get P4 to do a complete 360 deg trun), it made a Right 180 deg turn, stopped, then a Left 180 deg turn.
  6. Before landing, I stopped the video then selected the block to take a photo but no photos were taken on any of the trials.
  7. I tried to attach a screenshot of the mission from my iPad mini but when I opened the app, nothing appears except for the Telemetry Bar on top and a "No Aircraft Connected ?" message in the upper left. Before I left the house, the mission data was there so I turned off the iPad to conserve the battery. Once at work, I turned it on, *POOF* it all vanished to include the menu items.

This is great testing feedback! Let me address your items the best I can:

1. There is really nothing to read. Just our logo. It's intent is just to be a placeholder while the app launches. According to Apple guidelines it's not a good idea to use a logo, but a screen shot of what the app looks like. Maybe we'll do that next.

2. and 3. Unfortunately right now we only support up to 180 degree yaw rotations. It's a tricky thing but we'll look into adding support for up to 360. Originally we had the yaw blocks with menus where you could only select up to 180 degrees. Now that they are free-form number fields this is misleading. I could see a user enter 720 and expect it to rotate 2 times.

4. As it relates to 2 and 3 this is another tricky thing. Right now we can only tell the aircraft to yaw from 0 to 180 (right) or 0 to -180 (left). So there is a turnMode property where we can tell the aircraft which way to turn at each waypoint. We haven't explicitly set this property so what I believe is happening is the aircraft is taking the shortest turn to its destination. We'll do some testing and see if we can address this in the next release.

5. I think this is what I explained in 4. Definitely not desired behavior. Hopefully setting turnMode fixes this.

6. I'd really like to see a screenshot of this mission so we can try to reproduce. Or at least see if you can recreate something simple and screen sho it?

7. It should save the last set of blocks you had on the canvas. When you get back to the house with wifi can you try to open it again? Even kill the app if necessary and reload it. Hopefully it's still there.

We'll work to address these items or provide better clarification on how things work.

Thanks.
