Android how to download file within webview.

Hello All,

I have been trying to download file within the web-view, i tried to set the download listener which takes me to the browser and it made me to login again.

The page that i am trying to access, writes the embedded object only if the session is valid, else it will write a simple text asking the user to re-login again.

Hope you peoples can understand the problem that i am facing. So, i am wondering how i can download that file within the web-view. I even tried to get the cookies by using cookie manager and set it to http-client request's cookie-store, but still no change.

 Can somebody help me in overcoming this problem.

this is most probably the wrong list to ask for your problem. Try the
big android-developer lists!
