Hi,

SVN 66 has an implementation of 'fit to content'. It's not perfect,
because PDFs can have all sorts of invisible cruft that confuses it,
but it's pretty good. I use it most of the time.

I've been away for a while, because (1) we've had some major
earthquakes around here and (2) my Pandigital Novel tablet broke. Life
is pretty much back to normal after the earthquakes, and I've got
myself a Viewsonic G-Tablet which runs DroidReader a whole lot better
than the Novel ever did!

That said, I don't think I'll be doing much with DroidReader. I just
don't have the motivation to do things like annotation and content
search when there's other PDF readers that do it better than I ever
could (spend a buck and get EzyPDF, it's great). DroidReader's
inverted display is something that no other reader has, to my
knowledge, and I like it for nighttime reading.

There's flickering on page turns with the display inverted, and I'd
kind of like to fix it, but it must be some sort of threading issue
and that's something I don't understand. There's also a slight flicker
with content fitting. I'd like to do pinch zooming sometime (didn't
someone on this list already do this? I'll have to read back).

I'll stay in touch, our upstream dependencies will no doubt continue
to break DroidReader!

Cheers,
Rob.
