NEXUS 7 5.1 USB OTG SUPPORT FOR DroidPlanner

Hi,

Can someone please let me know what could be going on with my Nexus 7(2013) which does not recognize 3dr radios over usb. I have usb debugging enabled and developer mode on. My nexus 7 also does not recognize external usb drives. How can I set it up to work with droidplanner ? Do I have to root it ? Downgrade android os ? When I run OTG check it fails on last step about Android 4.3 Issue 58277.. I am not running on android 4.3 but 5.1..

This issue is driving me crazy. the set up works fine on my brothers sony xperia running android 5.0.2. I know my radios work and the cable works.

This might be a defect with your nexus 7, as the device support otg cables, and should at least be able to recognize external USB drives.
