Geotag photos using Solo + Gimbal without post-processing?

Any ideas on how to geotag Solo + Gimbal photos wihout resorting to postprocessing (i.e., tlogs and mission planner)? Is this being worked on for an upcoming Tower release?

I have a question for you about using DroidPlanner with solo /gimbal combination.
Have you been able to configure a survey with droidplanner and then have the solo respond to the camera trigger events?

I have tried multiple test missions where I have set the survey to match my Gopro hero 4 black, and then run the mission. The gopro has no photos taken after returning from the mission.

Am I doing something wrong or are camera trigger events not working yet on the Solo?

They are not working yet on the solo, but 3DR, as well as external developers are working on fixing this issue.

If you have python and mavlink knowledge, you can yourself add support for your own vehicle.
