Things are coming along. I figured I’d do the updates in blog form so that the latest news is the most visible and I don’t have to edit or repeat myself. Things have been coming along. We have about a dozen or so regular players and a few tourists as well. The following are some of our essential links:

Hello again. I’m happy to announce that the algorithm is now functional and we’ll soon be ready to publish our first round of ratings. I would like to thank everyone who has participated in the first few games. We’re still a small club, only 14 games as of this post. I hope that the first ratings will spark some interest. The reporting of games should be a bit easier now. There is a Google Form that facilitates the task. Best is if the game creator be responsible for reporting. Other players should make sure that he/she has done so. Don’t hesitate to ask. Eventually, I should be able to pull the data straight from the app but this is not possible just yet.
Here are the steps to follow if you would like your game included :
Create a game and mention to your invitees that it is RATED (on the invitation forum or wherever you do your inviting).
The games must be public email, leave scoring system and End Year as default. Deadline must be at least 12h (I may be able to deal with faster games in the future, but not now)
The game creator must NOT modify the game parameters once the game is underway.
IMPORTANT: Once the game has ended the game creator must report the results here:
Ratings for each player start at 1000 and are provisional until they have completed seven games.
