Hello, can DROID able be configured to output the creation date of a file? I noticed the standard report provides last modified date.

If not, does anyone have any suggestions on how I might use the command line (or other method) to export an absolute path with creation date for a set of files in a directory? This Stack Overflow solution (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/11215702/cmd-dir-b-s-plus-date) will export a date but it too appears to be the last modified date.

Thanks!

Hi Jordon - there's a related thread on the DROID GitHub: https://github.com/digital-preservation/droid/issues/236. Much of the advice still stands, I believe. You may find mixed results on different filesystems, see "Creation Timestamps" here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_file_systems#Metadata . Absolute paths are a bit easier, and most languages support these. I haven't too many ready made suggestions.
