I have set up a Drobo Pro on my opensuse 11.4 box following the instructions here: http://drobo-utils.sourceforge.net/

I set the LUNsize to 8, as per instructions, to get over the 2Tb limit. I currently have 4Tb. When I type df to get the disk size/usage it correctly reports the usage but gets the size wrong - it reports 8Tb. This is a little confusing - is there any way to get it to report the correct number?

works as designed.  The correct size is 8 TiB.
Drobo always pretends to be the full lun size because most file systems do not take kindly to being resized.  So the firmware makes the server believe it has 8 TiB.  as the lights fill up, you just add disks.
