Greetings!

is the DrMemory project dead? There were no new releases since Sep 21, 2023 (2.6.0), and the issue tracker seems to be abandoned, and the CI shows "X" (FAILED) since a year.

New volunteers are needed on the project.  Are you interested in helping out?

Yes, I am, but I consider myself not qualified, especially on Windows.

I only wanted to confirm or debunk the rumor that the project "is
dead", as the last automated build was on Mar 23 2024, violating the
open source rule of "release often".

Also no current Windows 10/AMD64 machine (just tested with a fresh
install + Windows Update run with VMware 17.5.2) can run drmemory,
they all fail with the bcrypt.dll error.

There is a Github Mac failure blocking the automated package runs: a fix is in progress.

Hoping someone will volunteer to help with the bcrypt error.  This is open-source software, after all: the hope is to build up a community of contributors.
