The above link is to the Bowie TX Facebook page for the Bowie Auction/Kill pen. My son has a pickup and quarantine service out of most of the kill pens. Yesterday when he was picking up a horse for someone, there was a Hackney pony the facility said was a driving pony. There frequently are other equines that ride and drive.
If anyone is interested in rescuing an animal, there is financial help for those who wish to rescue, at all the kill pen facilities. Lawrence can be reached by phone or text at (940) 641-9229 for further information. No flame throwing please. Only trying to save some animals.
