Greetings all, I am a driver of miniatures in South Australia, and have been driving pairs for a short period of time which I love.  However, I have the good fortune of having bred 4 nearly identical black/black buckskins that I would love to drive together.  I can't find any photos of the gear close up or that isn't moving!  Mostly, I need a close-up of the attachment of the swingles at the front end of the pole so I can get that sorted.  There are other terms that it would be a big help to have a photo of them, as names without photos mean very little to me, although I understand the concepts.
Can anyone help with some very simple photos?
Thanks, Judith

You can find some photos at www.drivingpairs.com under the VSE's incl. one picture there with also a four-in-hand of horses (Sterling Graburn) - and if you zoom in on them enough, perhaps it gives you some ideas. You may want to also read my articles on the same site about driving fours - as that too might be helpful, even though it does not really answer your question today about the equipment set-up, but will hopefully give you some general ideas too. Good luck.

I can't emphasize this enough:  Get an experienced driver to examine your hitch before you drive.
