My problem was that the jetbrains-toolbox executable, downloaded from jetbrains.com, was not displaying its GUI. By cloning with git the link on this page :
-toolbox/ , no more problem appeared.
Quick information, you can install AUR packages with `yay` and avoid the manual installation with git. The advantage of it is similar to `pacman`, if there are some updates it will do easily with the command `yay -Syuu`, also you can install the program with `yay -s jetbrains-toolbox`.
New-Shortcut -Path "$Home\Desktop\Jetbrains Toolbox.lnk" -TargetPath "C:\Users\$env:UserName\AppData\Local\JetBrains\Toolbox\bin\jetbrains-toolbox.exe" -IconLocation "C:\Users\$env:UserName\AppData\Local\JetBrains\Toolbox\bin\jetbrains-toolbox.exe" -Description 'Jetbrains Toolbox' -WorkingDirectory "C:\Users\$env:UserName\AppData\Local\JetBrains\Toolbox\bin\"
I am on MX Linux 19 and I just installed an application called Jetbrains toolbox. On other distros, such as Mint XFCE, the icon for this application shows up in the notification area. I does not show up on MX Linux. Also note that when I go into properties for the notification area, it does not appear there as an item to hide or unhide.
The solution to fix is very simple, we need to add a directory where JetBrains toolbox can have write permission, and probably, the best is to create a tool directory under your user home and append it to the PATH environment variable.
This open source icon is named "jetbrains toolbox" and is licensed under the open source GPL v3 license. It's a colored icon. It's available to be downloaded in SVG and PNG formats (available in 256, 512, 1024 and 2048 PNG sizes).
It's part of the icon set "Candy Icons", which has 765 icons in it.
If you need this icon available in another format, it should be pretty straight forward to download it as an SVG image file, and then import it into apps like Adobe Photoshop, Crello, Fotor or RelayThat. Converting it to an ICO, JPEG or WebP image format or file type should also be pretty simple (we hope to add that feature to Iconduck soon).
