event heads-up- Sun, Apr 30

We are doing a joint program with Darkhei Noam for the Upper West Side Celebrates Israel (through the JCC) this year. Lauren Yoked of Leket Israel, the Israeli Food Bank will be speaking about hunger and food waste in Israel. The program is scheduled for Sunday, April 30 at 11am.
Please mark it on your calendars; we will need a few people to be here to manage the event.
Also to put on your radar- various programs/events are in the works for May/June/July. For instance, on May 3 from 7:30 to 9pm we have Jon Kelsen, Tammy Jacobowitz, and Aaron Koller on “”Purity: From Vayikra to Today.” Details on this (and other things in the works) to follow.

Thanks Jordana for putting this on our radar. Both programs sound great! Who is working on PR for the Leket/JCC one? Is that coming from our end?
Also - though I would love to be at the Leket event, we'll be in Philadelphis that day - there's a symposium at the American Museum of Jewish History on JPS Bible translation 100th anniversary - and Aaron is speaking. Sorry... Will be at the Vayikra panel, for sure.
