There is a space on the back for a "signature of transferor", which I think is CIBC Mellon.  I'll make sure before I send it. 

I have only done a couple of transfers too, and they were years ago, so I'll have to brush up.

The certificate needs a certification signature from a bank.  I'm headed there now, and will drop it at the post office right after the bank. 

By the way, the security answer for your e-transfer was incorrect. 

I took a guess at what you meant, and put 2021 instead.  I'm a genius.  haha.
