Dear Friends of Music and/or Robots,

next Friday and Saturday, September 20/21, a cooperation of Music and Computer  Science will perform the Robot Opera: GALATEA_RESET.   The product of a one year collaboration at Temple University between Dr. Maurice Wright (Boyer College of Music and Dance) and Dr. Rolf Lakaemper (Dept. of Computer and Information Sciences) joins humans and robots on stage to play Dr. Wright's vision of the ancient myth of Acis and Galatea.  Composed specifically for a robot-human setting, GALATEA_RESET treats the mythological characters of Acis, Galatea, Polyphemus and Pygmalion, and the multiple paths of their stories through history.

Please see the flyer below for further information and join us for this exciting event!
